Background
TWCR was founded in 2018 with a clear vision of creating a supportive community for women business leaders in Tanzania. Over the years, we have grown into a vibrant network of female leaders committed to excellence, ethical leadership, and collective growth. We have launched numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing leadership capabilities, promoting ethical business practices, and advancing the role of women in leadership.
What we do
TWCR addresses key challenges faced by women leaders in Tanzania, such as limited networking opportunities, lack of tailored mentorship and coaching, gaps in leadership skills development, challenges in maintaining work-life balance and well-being and the under-representation in leadership roles across sectors. We do this through:
- Leadership Trainings: We women leaders through leadership and etiquette development programs, exposure and knowledge sharing.
- Dynamic Networking: We offer opportunities for women leaders to connect, collaborate, and share best practices.
- Mentorship & Coaching: Personalized mentorship programs offer tailored guidance and support.
- Skills Development: Leadership development and business growth training equip members with the tools for success.
- Wellness Initiatives: We prioritize holistic well-being through wellness programs.
- Advocacy: We actively advocate for the inclusion of women in leadership roles, working toward a more equitable business environment.
